About The Drisco
The Drisco tells its own story: American families arrived here in 1866, the brothers John and George Drisco built the hotel, and around 1870 it passed to the Templer Ernst Hardegg, who named it Hotel Jerusalem. Restored from 2006 under the architect and designer Ari Shaltiel, it reopened in early 2018 and joined Relais & Châteaux in 2023. Its 42 rooms and suites include Villa Drisco; George & John cooks modern Israeli food, and there is the Mark Twain salon, a rooftop over the sea and Daria Spa. The hotel is for adults and older children and is not kosher.
